Performing Artist.
Dedicated Educator.

Axity Chong is a multifaceted artist and musician with a dynamic presence across both screen and stage. Originally from Hong Kong and rigorously trained since childhood, she has performed extensively on major platforms like TVB and RTHK, earning recognition for her mastery of both vocals and the dramatic arts.

Alongside her performing career, Axity has been a dedicated vocal educator for many years. Her experience spans a diverse demographic — from ages 4 to 63 — across various schools and academies. This led her to found Rising Star Studio, where she designs bespoke curricula tailored to each student's unique anatomy, habits, and mindset.

"I don't define your interpretation. I empower you with the mastery of your own vocal choices."

Drawing from years of stage performance, her teaching integrates dramatic tension and emotional expression — ensuring students can project their voice healthily, even through long performances.

Your Voice Is a
Complete Toolbox.

Stop thinking of your voice as a single instrument. Inside your "Vocal Toolbox," you have different tools — each designed for a specific purpose. Using the wrong tool doesn't just limit your sound; it can cause real, lasting damage.

Once you can access your fundamental vocal hardware with ease, you are free to blend, adjust, and choose based on the music and the emotions you want to express. There is no single "model answer" in singing.

"My role is to guide you from technical skill to vocal freedom, so you can tell your story, your way."

— Axity Chong, Founder

I firmly believe that anyone committed to learning can sing well. The only requirement is a genuine willingness to work hard and trust the process.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know

Yes. Online lessons can be highly effective with the right setup — a quiet space, stable internet, and a decent microphone. Many of our students train successfully online from around the world.
Absolutely. Axity's teaching starts with an honest assessment of where you are and builds from there. The only requirement is a genuine willingness to learn and put in the work.
Almost certainly yes. True tone-deafness is extremely rare. The vast majority of people who believe they "can't sing" simply haven't yet learned to use their vocal tools correctly. Real improvement is possible for almost anyone with dedication.
Please prepare 2 songs you'd like to sing and let us know in advance. Axity will select from these for the initial vocal assessment. Come ready to sing from the very first minute — the assessment is designed to capture your natural voice and identify exactly where to begin.
Honestly? It depends entirely on your dedication and how quickly you internalise the techniques. Some students hear a difference within a few sessions; others need months of consistent practice before things truly click. If you're looking for an overnight transformation, Rising Star Studio is not the right fit — and Axity will not teach students who aren't genuinely committed to putting in the work. But for those who are? The progress is real, visible, and deeply rewarding.
There is no upper age limit, and the lower limit depends entirely on the child's readiness — not a number. Axity believes every person develops differently. Some young children are emotionally and physically ready to begin exploring their voice at 3 or 4; some adults take a full year or more before they can consciously feel and control the right vocal muscles — and that's completely normal. Research shows that vocal muscle coordination is a skill that can be developed at virtually any age, much like learning a new instrument. What matters most is not how old you are, but how genuinely curious and committed you are to the process.
